Title: Trust Me
Materials: Steel, concrete, rust
Dimensions: 30ft x 7ft x 27ft
About: This sculpture is about trusting my intuition and following the form wherever it decided to take me. I began this project with a rough outline, made six sections individually that were then welded together to create a tremendous archway that wiggles its way across the sky. “Trust Me” is a trust exercise between material and creator; a conversation that built its way into a dancing steel giant.

Stellarium 5000
Title: Stellarium 5000
Materials: Aluminum, steel, solar lights
Dimensions: 20ft x 6ft x 9ft
About: My work is an attempt to contain chaos in an ordered aesthetic. Process and engagement with traditional and industrial materials conflate with science and architecture in an exploration of the underlying geometry of nature and the built environment. Current bodies of work are –interactive optical sculptures, unstable topographical surfaces, and installations intended to present chaos as a believable visual system.

Material: Steel
Dimensions: 61′ x 14′ x 14′
This large steel sculpture is site responsive piece inspired by WW1 pre radar listening devices that would capture sound from great distances allowing the listener to experience the amplification of the area in case of impending danger. In this case the central charged point offers an opportunity to slow down, listen, feel, wait, and to be in that space between spaces. The shape and placement being in line with the Butternut Valley in Gilbertsville NY will capture and intensify the sound for the participant. In using the sound beyond what we can hear as a momentary found object; capturing it, and focusing it in a way to interact with what extends past our sight.
